Brenzys (etanercept) is a biologic medicine that helps the pain and swelling of arthritis. It is used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, and other types of arthritis.
Brenzys is a type of medicine that is called a biosimilar. A biosimilar is a type of biologic medication that is designed to be identical to an existing biologic medication, but is created using a different process.
Brenzys is a biosimilar of Enbrel. Both medications are known by the same generic name: etanercept. Biosimilars are often cheaper than the original medication.
This campaign was to enforce that, even though Brenzys is a biosimilar, it still does the same job as their well-known counterpart. This is where the twins come in – they are both similar, except one looks very overdressed and fancy, while the other is understated and simple. This plays with the idea that you can have two products that look different but function the same. The twins are similar, but Brenzys is represented as the simplier one – giving access and using the product is easy.
I attended the photoshoot that took place, we had to get the models ready and make sure we were getting the shots needed for the pull up banners and adverts that were to follow.
