Sunday Drive do not just sell cars, they sell a desirable experience. Their customers want to take time out of their busy lives, and cruise the open road in their luxury vehicle.
I designed the logo to represent these ideas through the use of colour and type. The line under Sunday, is like a road leading to an adventure that awaits. The logo balances a retro and modern aesthetic to suit all cars available for purchase.
Colour is an integral part of the Sunday Drive story. The colour palette is uplifting, enticing and adventurous. It is reminiscent of an evening sunset, which conjure up feelings and memories of a relaxing Sunday drive. No stress, no worries, just you and the open road with an unknown destination ahead. The word Sunday starts out black, for a bold introduction. It fades into a rustic red, then into lighter and lighter (sunset) colours, the tones blending together in harmony.
